Becoming a BRood Watcher

The Brood Watcher is a dragon you need to unlock. To achieve this, you must complete a quest first.

The quest isn't so long and is pretty simple, you can complete it in less than 30 minutes.

Note: Unlocking the Brood Watcher is per server. You must unlock it on every servers you play on.

Attention: You must be a juvenile to start the quest. Be sure to have it activated via your Quest journal. Open your character panel with 'i', then it is located into your 5th tab.

Using a Brood Watcher or Biolumin doesn't work for this quest.

Find and Speak to the Alpha Brood Watcher

Location: 730S 410E

Your first step is to find the NPCs. When found, you need to speak to the Alpha Brood Watcher.

Here's the answers to complete this step;

Greetings. (Ans: 1)
I have come to welcome you and your herd to these lands. (Ans: 1)
Is there anything I can do to help your herd settle in? (Ans: 4)
I will speak to the Matriarch. (Ans: 2)

When completed, you can proceed to the next step, which is to speak to the Matriach.

Speak to the Matriarch

Location: 730S 410E (near the Patriarch)

The Matriach is right next to the Alpha, grazing. She will ask you for some help to feed hers hatchlings.

Here's the answers to complete this step;

Your mate sent me to ask if I could be of service. (Ans: 1)
What kind of food do you eat? (Ans: 3)
How can I help? (Ans: 1)
I will find some food for your broodlings. (Ans: 1)

When completed, you can proceed to the next step, which will be to find 'correct' food for the Brood Watchers.

Find some Native Flora to feed the Broodlings

I've decided to combine the next 3 steps into one. First, you will need to find 1 Red mushroom and eat it.

(There's some around, you may use your scent to find some)

Once done, you must return to the Matriarch.

Here's the answers to complete this step;

I have found food for your broodlings. (Ans: 1)
No! Red mushrooms are safe to eat. Trust me. (Ans: 1)
How many I must eat? (Ans: 1)
I will eat ten and prove to you that my word is true. (Ans: 1)

However, the Matriach will not trust you and ask you to eat 10 more mushrooms. (The swamp nearby got plenty)

*Be careful about the sickness that the mushrooms can inflict to your dragon. Remember to sleep so the poison can vanish faster.

When completed, you may return to the Matriach for one last time.

Speak to the Matriarch

Location: 730S 410E (near the Patriarch)

Go back to the Matriarch, here's the answers to complete this step;

I have eaten ten red mushrooms as you requested of me and they made me very sick. I have brought you some to try yourself. (Ans: 1)
Are you not feeling sick? (Ans: 1)
(Join the Brood Watcher herd) (Ans: 1)

Congratulation! You now can choose the Brood Watcher from your Spawn Menu and start to play as this gentle giant.
