The Dune Weaver is a heavily armored creature whose body is entirely covered with massive spikes. Most commonly found among the dunes, the Dune Weaver is primarily hunted by adult dragons due to its great defenses. Its armor makes it a challenging target, though determined juveniles may succeed in bringing one down.

In desert environments, the Dune Weaver is considered a common specie named for its ability to "swim" through the sand. It pass most of its time buried, but may occasionally resurface to bask in the heat and recover energy.

When threatened or detected, the Dune Weaver will curls into a ball, shielding the softer underside of its body and transforming itself into an almost impenetrable mass of spikes.
