Myth of The Mimikor

The "Myth of the Mimikor" Quest is part of the Winter Holidays Event during which players can unlock/receive some cosmetics.

Event Date;

(2024) - December 4 to January 1.

(2025) - December 4 to January 4.

Here's what players can unlock;

A Title; "The Believer".
A "Snowslugs" cosmetic pearl.

Note: Each rewards must be unlocked per server. Titles are per server. Cosmetics pearls are per dragon.

This little guide will explain you how to get them all!

Here's a map to give a global view of the Quest. It shows every NPCs locations you will need to meet.

⭐Note: During this Quest, there isn't really any wrong answers, except some responses you need to give to keep on your adventure.

I suggest you to go wild with the dialogues, many give us details about the game lore, if this is something that may tickle your interest!

1. Speak to a Believer

"Namuu, The Believer"

Specie: Biolumin

Location: 98N 293E - Zone I5 (Near Ramp)

Namuu is the first dragon you will need to meet to start your adventure. This one will invite you to join the 'Believers".

When done, you can proceed to the next step which is to assist to the rendezvous inside; "The Meeting Cave".

2. Go to the Meeting Cave

"Lumii, The Believer"

Specie: Biolumin

Location: 326N 410E - Zone J3 (Inside the "Meeting Cave")

Once inside the cave, you will need to speak with Lumii, the only Biolumin not sitting near the entrance.

When done, you can proceed to the next step which is to meet up with; The One.

3. Speak to The One

"The One"

Specie: Unknown (but certainly a Flame Stalker)

Location: 326N 410E - Zone J3 (Inside the "Meeting Cave")

"The One" is located behind the waterfall and is represented by a Flame Stalker silhouette. There's also little purple creatures floating around its head. Get near to speak with it.

Here's the answers to complete this step;

Yes, I wish to learn. (Ans: 1)
I want to know more about Mimikors. (Ans: 5)
But, what if they did exist? (Ans: 1)
You of all dragons should be open to the possibilty that the Mimikor is real, yet, you do not believer... why is that? (Ans: 1)
I heard the "Quill" and "Parchment" speaks to them. (Ans: 3)
How do you know this? (Ans: 1)
So Mimikors do not exist but their "Quill" and "Parchment" does exist? (Ans: 1)

When done, you can proceed to the next step which is to find; a "Quill" & "Parchment".

4. Search for a Quill and Parchment

Location: 326N 410E - Zone J3 (Inside the "Meeting Cave")

The "Quill & Parchment" are close than one could think. When you're done speaking with "The One", simply turn and go right. (do not exit the cave)

You will be able to see a bark tablet plus a branch resting on the rock nearby, even highlighted by a sunbeam.

Interact with this object, and here's the little dialogue (just in case);

When done, you can proceed to the next step which is to return to; The One.

5. Return to The One

"The One"

Specie: Unknown (but certainly a Flame Stalker)

Location: 326N 410E - Zone J3 (Inside the "Meeting Cave")

Return to The One. Howerer, this one will only deny your discovery.

6. Return to Namuu, The Believer

"Namuu, The Believer"

Specie: Biolumin

Location: 98N 293E - Zone I5 (Near Ramp)

Next, exit the cave and return to Namuu. Share with them about your experience.

7. Hunt for the Mythical Mimikor

Specie: Thornback Crawler

Location: Varied (10 possibles positions - different for every players)

Actually, you will not find a Mimikor, but a little strange creature named, "Crispy Bacon". This Thornback is still part of your adventure.

But careful, this step is a little tedious. The Thornback location is varied and different for every players. There's 10 possibles positions.

However, once you have found yours, the Thornback will always be at this location for you, no matter your dragon or server you're playing on.

Here's a list of the possibles coordinates;

*A theory have been brought up by the community that the position of the Thornback is actually linked to an account steam ID, the last number of it. I will include the numbers in this next list, but if you don't find your Thornback at the given location depending of your ID, verify if your quest is active or, just keep looking the others spots.

The Mimikors aren't a myth!.. Or, is this really how these creatures are named? Share a talk with Kohrin & Mohko, even if these 2 new faces are more interested by what you've achieved with the Thornback.

9. Share your Story with The One

Now back to the Meeting Cave, return to "The One". Once again, this one with deny your discovery, and will even try to make you feel like a crazy lunatic if you insist.
