Offering recommendations is one of the best ways to care for your customers & help them find great books for their child's age & interests with ease. Part of your virtual book bash script features an opportunity for guests to share a bit about their reader so that you can curate a custom list of suggestions for them. Creating these recommendation lists very well end up being your favorite part of your party!
Once guests start commenting on the post that invites them to share about their reader you can start create custom lists (note if no one has commented on this post a few days before your party tag 5-10 guests in a meaningful comment like: "Hey @Suzie, what are Max & Millie into these days? I'd love to offer some ideas!"). Here are the steps, this process gets faster & faster with each list you create!
MAKING BOOKSHELVES (LIST OF BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS TO SHARE):
PRO TIP: Have your host (or you yourself if it is your launch party) tag friends in this post to help get engagement in your party up! You could say something like "Hey Julie! What are Max and Ryan into these days? I'd love to put together a wish list for you guys!" Typically, once a few wish lists are posted, people get REALLY excited and want one of their own. :)
Here is an example of how this post should look:
+ It is a separate post on the party page
+ There is a blurb about why the books were selected
+ There are pictures of a few books from the list to make it eye-catching & fun
+ The link to the unique wishlist is included.
