What is the Bedrock Library?

Like a real-life library, the Bedrock Library is open to all learners. Every learner can access this new Tier 2 vocabulary, regardless of which block of content they are working on.

Content within the Bedrock Library can be accessed via the Library button in the My Content area of a learner’s Bedrock Learning vocabulary curriculum. Please do encourage your learners to start exploring!

Bedrock’s library of fiction and non-fiction content sits outside the main learning blocks. A wide variety of engaging topics are available — ranging from the life of plants to the life of grime rapper and chef Big Zuu.

The Library is designed to include challenging language, perfect for stretching even the most able readers. It remains accessible, making aspirational vocabulary available to all.

Tier 2 words from other Bedrock blocks are woven throughout the new Library content, allowing learners to continue developing their understanding of language and prose as a whole.
