The Northern Territory Government in September 2020 banned NT Independent [ an On-Line publication, which covers current affair and politics ] from attending any NT Government Press Conferences.

Australia stands tall with it’s Democratic society values and especially with it’s FREEDOM OF PRESS pillar, NT or any community in Australia, have an implied freedom of political communication, they have a right to hear information about government, about policies, about scandals, about the full range of matters that might affect how they cast a vote.

Around 50% of working people in the NT has a financial commitment to the NT Government, either being a public servants or being in business and or contractors.
