Director Iris Zaki , granddaughter of Souad Zaki, the much loved Egyptian singer and screen actress in Egypt 1940’s,

Souad Zaki, a true legend, amongst a larger number of Egyptian Artists during those Golden Years of Egypt’s Cinema era in 1950’s.

Director Iris Zaki, presents us her family story with her father Moshe Zaki in the documentary film, winning international awards,

The documentary film, Egypt, A Love Song, is a celebration about her grandmother Souad Zaki with the help of her

dad [ Moshe Zaki ], in the documentary.

Iris and her father Moshe Zaki, visited different places to embrace and enrich their family story, sourcing Archival radio interview and videoclips of Suaad.

Director Iris Zaki initially enrolled in Documentary Film making course in London and gained a MA Master of Arts accreditation, ........

The rest is history, submitting Doco films in the 2^nd Astra Film Festival in 2012.
