Current Covid-19 lockdowns in Victoria have had varying impacts on all of us, we've learned the recent NAPLAN 2021 results was what psychologists didn't predict, there's been sincere concerns from community, professional fraternities and media about students from primary and secondary schools, what impact has Covid-19 lockdowns had on their learning and social developments during these homebound / on-line learning.

1] Tell us more about Giselle and how Learning Support Officer is befitting you ?
· Learning Support officer in the Catholic Education sector.
· Have worked in several schools over the past 20 years.
· My main role is supporting year 7-12 students with Individual Needs in the classroom in Literacy and Numeracy, mainly in numeracy.
· Our school community ensures every student has the same opportunities and learning provided to them.
2] let's talk about NAPLAN, what it means and how your job is linked with these tasks
· NAPLAN - National assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy
· NAPLAN data informs the Department of Education if the educational outcome has been achieved by all student.
This information is used to improve the curriculum for future planning.
