The first thing new students in our lab often need to do is get virtual research ready – here’s how to do that.
Communication & Teamwork: The majority of our communication and teamwork will be coordinated in our live meetings, through email, and through our files and documents. We will not be using D2L in the traditional way, so don't expect that and be sure to stay up to date on emails with the team.

Zoom for our live meetings. (Support information is available here & via 24/7 IT.)
Google Hangouts for messaging, calling, and a video chat backup option. You can find everyone's contacts in our classlist for this semester.
Google Drive Folder for all files, inc. agendas: Once you're part of the team you can add this folder to your own Drive so you always have access, then save your work there to collaborate.
For Survey Research: UA Qualtrics (If you need training in Qualtrics this link is great!)
VoiceThread for our asynchronous check-ins. (Typically only used in summer.)
All of our lab students create artifacts, how-to's, and other support items for the team to use. You can find them all in our folder! If you need something not listed, please get in touch with the Lab Coordinator. (You can go to your Google Drive and use the search bar. If you've added the lab to your Drive and we have a support doc it will appear like magic for you.)
The full list of items available will not show below - but this can help you get there quick if needed.
You should especially check out the 'Setting Up EZ Proxy Redirect' - it will help you do online research so much faster and more efficiently!
