As a reminder, you should likely have your onboarding completed by this meeting unless you're spending extra time with one of the steps, and even if you're not done it's time to start on your respective projects if you have not yet. Let me know if you have any access or onboarding issues, of course.
You should add your progress to the agenda before the meeting (just a bullet point), which will help you remember what to talk about during your 2 minutes.
Do CV Week 1 according to the notes in D2L & turn in your current Project Log there as well
Be prepared to give a quick update on your progress: what you've completed, any issues, what you're planning to do next week.
Be sure to keep up with your Project Log.
Be sure you're reading any of my feedback in D2L and checking to be sure you keep up with turning things in there for our hard deadlines.
Here's a sample email you might send out with your chosen materials or article that you're sharing with the group. You might need to give us more background/info on your personal project to go along with it.
Hello!
Just a quick reminder about the article we're discussing in the next meeting. The article itself is located here {link/attachment}, and these are the questions you should keep in mind while reading it:
What was the author's purpose, and what did they find out?
What implications might this have for your research (if any)?
Do you have any concerns about their findings or methodology?
Remember to keep your critical hats on!
