LDRV 496: The MLC

Welcome to The Mentoring & LEadership CoLlaboratory!

This is a very different type of workshop course. The first thing you should know is you should be clocking your time reading this right now as work you're doing for class! That's how much participation matters for this one.

This is a fully online lab class and I understand that can be very intimidating, but we'll be meeting regularly to ensure you're a-ok.

It's all Dr. Brown Perkl this semester!

About Dr. BP

I've been an Assistant Professor for CAST's Organizational Leadership program since 2013, but I was adjunct faculty for Psychology prior to that. Students are my primary focus, and I'm committed to all of you who take our courses succeeding in them.

Prior to joining UArizona I received my PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Clemson University. During that time, I worked at Ft. Jackson with the Army Research Institute and did consulting work for companies like Michelin. From age 14 to when I entered graduate school I had what I like to call a 'patchwork career' in various office positions. I have some interesting stories from all of that, I hope to get to share some with you soon.

Currently I'm committed to increasing representation and diversity in PhD programs via my AWARDSS grant and to conducting research on mentoring and cultural intelligence.

Please do get in touch if you need to!
