Sometimes you need to trim some bits of the line work back to the edges.

4. Creating an exploded view of your clock

4. This will show you how to create a view with all the parts separated. This technique is great for showing how the whole clock will be assembled.

5. Creating a General Assembly Engineering Drawing

This video shows you how to make a technical drawing of your clock. Presenting it with projected views and dimensions.

Here's the sample drawing. You'll notice that there are three projections: front, side and bottom plus a 3D isometric view.

Only projections ever have dimensions applied to them.
