Project Aims:

· Develop freehand sketching skills

· Understand how to use 2D Design

· Understand how to use the laser cutter independently

Design Brief:

Goods of Desire are creating a new range of products to celebrate their new slogan ‘Proudly Hong Kong’. They would like you to design and create a prototype product for a new stationary range.

You have been asked to adapt a generic plywood pencil box with a custom lid that represents Hong Kong and the G.O.D brand.

Tasks:

· Secondary mood board

· Present primary research from G.O.D visit

· 2 hand drawn ideas which are rendered and annotated

· Screenshots of 2D Design CAD work

· Photographs of prototype / final outcomes

All work to be presented in sketchbook.
