Performance:
Playing of 3 solo pieces, an ensemble piece, technical work, sight reading and aural
Music literacy:
Theory, harmony, composition, aural development and using a notation programme (MuseScore)
General music knowledge and analysis:
Listening to and analysis of African, Western, indigenous, popular and jazz music, and the value chain of the music industry.
