WORD SEARCH
STEP 2: Enter a title for your puzzle. Think of words that summarize the main topic of the activity.
STEP 3: Enter the size of your word seach puzzle. This size takes into account the amount of letters your puzzle will have, so it mainly depends on the list of words you include in it.
STEP 4: Here you have to choose how letters are going to interact. If your students are young, it is better to put words isolated; whereas if your students are teenagers or adults, the words can share letters and they will be able to find them.
STEP 5: Here you have to decide the format in which you want to download your puzzle. If you choose "image" you will have the chance to copy and paste the picture wherever you want to use it, whereas if you choose "HTML" you will have the chance to get a document and print it right away.
STEP 6: In this case you get to decide the format of the letters: UPPERCASE, lowercase or a mixture of both. Again, bare your students' needs when choosing.
STEP 7: Now it is time to add all the words you want to include in your word search. There are different ways of doing this by means of commas, spaces or a word in each line.
STEP 8: Here you have to decide whether you want to show the instructions or not to your students. If you do so, click on the the small box until you get a light-blue and white tick.
STEP 9: Click on "Create My Puzzle" to see the final result.
STEP 10: Here you have different options you can resort to:
"Show Answer" can help you check if all the words have been properly uploaded.
"Print Puzzle" is the option to directly print your word search.
"Copy Puzzle" is the option that allows you to copy the word search in another document or website.
"Copy Answer" is sometimes broken, but it is the possibility to copy the answers of the word seach in another document or website.
"Rebuild Puzzle" is the possibility to rearrange the letters in the word search.
