Cram is a flashcard creator that can help students to train their memory and studying skills. It's user friendly so not only teachers can create sets of flashcards but also students themself can use it. It's excellent for SEN students with reading and attention difficulties or with memory problems because it has different modes to suit the students needs. I think this tool is good for learning vocabulary as you can add images and words, and there is a "read" feature that reproduces the word that you have entered.
Here are some of the modes.
Memorize mode: Look at a card. When you are ready, click the "See Answer" button. How did you do? Click "I Was Wrong" or "I Got It Right". View the results of each round.
Test mode: You can choose the way in which you're going to be tested. It could be writting the answer, matching, choosing between true of false or in a multiple choice way.
Games: There are 2 games
Jewels of Wisdom: A jewel matching game in which your flashcard terms appear on the jewels on the left. You have to match them correctly with the definitions on the right.
Stellar Speller: Learn how to spell vocabulary words with this fast paced space blaster. Deftly navigate through rogue asteroids and collect power-ups that will help you take down the alien invasion.
It has an app, so you can even create your flashcards on the go and it's available on Google Play and App Store
