Pixton is a platform to create comics and storyboards. It offers opportunities for students to express themselves in this style even if they do not have artistic skills. It is entertaining and encourages the power of imagination.
Using this tool, students will exercise language skills including grammar and vocabulary and they will develop their creativity.
Kids across a wide age range will find a motivating and engaging way to express themselves in writing.
It is an online platform and it is free.
An inclusive tool:
What is great about this tool is that it has specialized content packs that are helpful for specific types of situations. For example, there is a content pack designed to help users create social stories that are useful to students with autism.
Another interesting aspect related to SEN is that when students make their avatars they will find wheelchair and hearing aid options to cutomize themselves.
