Romans 5:6-11
Jesus died for Sinners
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! 10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
1 Peter 3:18
Jesus Dies for the Unrighteous Ones
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
When Jesus walked the earth among us, He was a Perfect Man...And He dwelt among us teaching us about God and Himself...He was a Righteous Man...And we were and are imperfect and unrighteous as we walked with Him...Yet He was Perfect and Righteous but said little about our imperfections and flaws...Now, He did go around forgiving people of their sins, so He knows we sin and what are sins are...He is One who possesses Great Forgiveness...
And as Jesus walked the earth, Divine and Perfect never was He arrogant about His Perfection and Perfect Righteousness...No, He wanted to help the lesser, the needy, those poor in Spirit, the meek, and those who mourn...Jesus was always helping the lower levels of society...In fact, this help He offered of those in need is much of His teachings and parables...Jesus is truly the God of the underdog and the lesser...Jesus treats all people as loving individuals, and didn't seem to concern Himself with what society did or felt about Him, as He went about His Teaching Ways...
And Jesus suffered for the unrighteous and forgave all those of all their sins, past, present, and future when He died on the cross for us...So we get grace, forgiveness, mercy, and acceptance from One Who is Much, Much Greater than us...This shows His LOVE for us, and His Forgiving Nature...He truly is full of Grace and Truth...
His Glory was and is with God...He did not sin and ever fall short of God's Glory...God was pleased with Him, and He said this when He was on the sacred mountain with some of His Disciples...And this Perfect, Righteous Man sacrifices Himself for those who sin and are imperfect...He died for those who are lesser than Him...Such a sign of who He is and what He stands for...
