Be Prepared to Answer
15 Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
St. Peter tells us to be ready to answer those who want to know about our hope...When you tell someone about your hope, or your faith, or what you believe, do it with respect and gentleness...Do it with honesty and you will keep a clear conscience...
Our hope is that Jesus is LORD...
