Terrariums

A terrarium is a self contained and sustained environment for plants and animals. Using recyclable and reusable materials, so far the terrariums are showing progress without tending. Using 2 clear plastic water bottles and re-purposed cloth or string. The directions on making them are found at the bottom of the page.

Using a mixture of top soil and compost, these terrariums are all set for the 5th Grade class to conduct an experiment using variables chosen by the class, like plants, soil, and fertilizer.
