In Year 1, the children learnt to cut fruit safely using the claw and bridge hold. They designed and made smoothies.
In Key Stage 2, the children complete two 'Cooking and Nutrition' units per academic year.
In Year 3, the children will design and make a savoury biscuit and a pasta dish. They will look at ways of adapting a recipe, discuss seasonality and use the oven and hob safely.
