The President is the face of the club and plays a key role in shaping its culture, direction, and day-to-day operations. They represent the club as a whole and are ultimately responsible for ensuring the club runs smoothly, professionally, and in line with UQ Union requirements.

As a leader, the President sets the tone of the club, supports committee members, and helps maintain positive relationships both within the club and with external stakeholders, including the UQ Union.

• Represent the club and act as the primary liaison with UQ Union, Clubs & Societies, and other clubs
  
  

• Attend Semester President Workshops and communicate UQ Union policies, standards, and updates to the committee
  
  

• Serve as the main communication channel between UQ Union and the HAC team
  
  

• Oversee the club’s overall operations, including administration, events, and activities
  
  

• Manage and support the Event Team and Social Media Team
  
  

• Mediate issues within the club and promote a respectful, inclusive culture
  
  

• Ensure compliance with the club Constitution and UQ Union Code of Conduct
  
  

• Share event listings, collaboration opportunities, and key information with the team
  
  

• Demonstrate positive leadership and support committee members in their roles

• Approximately 16 hours per week
  
  

• Expected to be reachable at least 4 days per week
