Many times when I say that I'm studying education, many ask but "why?" Others say "you're going to starve," and many of them say, "I don't know how you can do it." Hearing all these questions sometimes makes you ask, "Really, how did I come to want to be a teacher?"
This brings us to my story, actually I have always loved working with children. Originally I started at UPR studying to get a Bachelor's Degree in Kindergarten to Third Grade education. Having a philosophical thought, I said and I keep saying, that this stage is a fundamental one in which I would love to be able to work since here (as in preschool) you help the child in basically everything, such as reading, writing, and even thinking.
Over time, I decided to switch to Elementary English Education with a second concentration in Secondary English. I did this with a thought of being able to help the students in many different stages. In addition to helping them with their academic education, I also want to help them grow as individuals.
