FAFSA / Dream Act Application 2024-2025

All students planning to attend college next year should complete their application by April 2, 2024

Getting Started - Parents and Students will need to Create an FSA ID Account

Items Needed to Create an Account: 

• Social Security Number

• Your Own Mobile phone number and / or personal email address

Financial Aid Process

Apply for Financial Aid - Using the FAFSA Application or CADAA (California Dream Act Application). 

U.S. citizens and Residents use the FAFSA Application - Log in using your FSA ID username and password 

Non-Citizens and Non-Residence use the CADAA Application - Create a username and password - First Time User

Items Needed to Complete FAFSA / CADDA Application:

• Your Social Security Number - if applicable

• Your Parents' Social Security numbers - if applicable

• Your driver's license number -  if applicable

• Your Alien Registration number if you are not a U.S. Citizen

• Federal Tax information  or tax returns (2022) - including IRS W-2 information for your parents

  • IRS 1040

  • Foreign tax returns, IRS 1040 NR, or IRS 1040NR-EZ

• Parents child support received, interest income, veterans non-education benefits for you and your parents 

• Information on cash; saving and checking account balances; investments, including stocks and bonds and real estate, business and farm assets   

Keep these records! You may need them again to submit to your community college or university's financial aid office.
