On October 9, 2024, I went back to my project locale to gather the remaining survey questionnaires for parents. This time, I went in the afternoon to observe the PS2 learners. When I arrived, only a few learners were present because according to the teachers, most were sick probably because of the weather. Nonetheless, I was able to completely collect the remaining questionnaires because the teachers assisted me in gathering responses while I was away.

Since I have already completed my analysis data, I immediately proceeded to finishing my context, needs, and learner analysis. The following day on October 10, 2024, I had a virtual meeting with Sir Ley to discuss my updates on my special project wherein during that time, I was in the midst of finalizing my analysis.

Finally, on October 14, 2024, I was able to finish my thorough context, needs, and learner analysis and I immediately I sought for the expertise of Dr. Celeste Laurel Tayzon and asked her to formally be my content expert for this special project. She was very accommodating and I really appreciate her responsiveness and immediate guidance as she agreed to be my content expert right away after I emailed her. She assisted me with my project goals and sub-goals which will serve as my guide for the design and development of my instructional plan.

Dr. Tayzon's guidance during this stage of my design as I was about to begin with my project proposal was very crucial because as early as this stage, I was already able to align my goals and objectives to the design that I have planned in mind. It helped me think of my specific sub-goals which are already like a preview of how the design and development of the instructional materials will look like.

In just a few email exchanges, I was already able to learn a lot from her and I am looking forward to learning more with her guidance and help and of course, Sir Ley. Because of this, it was a lot easier for me to draft my project proposal and begin with my design. I realized that the initial objectives I constructed were too general or wide, and Dr. Tayzon helped me narrow it down into very detailed, measurable, and specific sub-goals. These are all necessary in designing and laying out my learning objectives such that they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. Thank you so much, Dr. Tayzon! 🫶🏻
