The traditional gastronomy of Germany consists of a plate of meat, potatoes, sauce with vegetables or salad. Depending on the region, it is influenced by neighboring countries such as the cuisine of Italy and France. The most used ingredients are pork, beef and poultry. There are several types of sausages such as: sausage with curry sauce, fried sausage, white sausage.

Brezel
It is a type of baked and salty bread that is typical of Bavaria. It has an interlocking circular shape and Germans like to eat it with butter.

They are rolls or small breads that are made with different ingredients, for example with different types of flour, with pumpkin or sunflower seeds. There is also a potato muffin.

They are fried with minced meat, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. They have a round and slightly flattened shape. Depending on taste, it can be served with tartar sauce, white sauce, with ketchup, hot or cold.

It is a typical dish originally from Austria Wiener Schnitzel, although it is also characteristic of Germany. Schnitzel is basically a breaded fillet of beef or pork.

The most typical drink in Germany is undoubtedly beer. There are several types and in each region one is preferred over another. In 2014, Germans drank an average of 22 million liters of beer per day.
