Free for teachers, Everfi is a necessity in my classroom. I have been using this program for the past three yeas as a way to introduce digital literacy at the very beginning of school, and as an innovative way to teach financial literacy during my Economics units in Social Studies. This year, Everfi has expanded their outreach and you can now find it as an App attached to Clever, a student learning platform used by many school districts through North Carolina. They have a wider vary of offerings that are great for all ages. The following program listings focus on student's need to become 'virtually aware" as well a digitally literate:
DigitalCitizen, an application available exclusively through the Apple Store, provides middle and high school students the opportunity to learn digital etiquette through a variety of realms, including interactive games and videos.

I will be honest here, I have not used this particular program in my classroom, but I have heard nothing but good things about it from past colleagues. Although originally designed for elementary age children, this product has been relaunched to include lessons for all grade levels. The lessons include full curriculum and teacher guides to help encourage older students to be proactive in their digital ownership as well as opportunities for further professional development.
