Description
DOER Fellowship-Introduction to Literature Renewable Assignments created by Edie Erickson and Nanci Love. This open pedagogy project includes three assignments, rubrics and examples that can be used for an introductory literature course. The recommended accompanying text is the Introduction to Literature by Lumen Learning. The first assignment is to build a virtual anthology of open materials in OER Commons and students in subsequent semesters add to the anthology. The second assignment is for students to use CC or public domain images to create a visual representation of a poem in the textbook. In the third assignment, students are asked to create a game, study guide, tutorial or other resource that focuses on one or more pieces of literature in the course.
