Building Test Banks for OER Textbook
Description
Building Test Banks for OER Textbook (Open Pedagogy Notebook)
This assignment from the Open Pedagogy Notebook, directed students to create questions to go along with the open textbook used in class. The course was Social Psychology and it was taught by Rajiv Jhangiani. During the weeks that there wasn’t an exam, students created multiple choice questions and peer-reviewed other student-created questions. Students created 1400 questions over the semester. Some of the questions were selected for the exams during the class. Next steps include revising questions and continuing to build on them until they are ready to be shared with the open community. Two guides were given to students on writing distractors for questions and providing peer-review feedback.
