THE LEARNING COMMONS
It is an active, comfortable space where students can discover, and create classroom media presentation in various subjects by collaborating with peers using the modern facilities. It contains technological features, an area design for flexibility in digital group work which will inspire students to be more productive. It is air conditioned with Wi-Fi access.
AUDIO VISUAL ROOM
The library is also provided with an Audio Visual Room, an area in the library where faculty and students can view and listen to educational materials in various forms like films, DVD and CD to enhance students’ learning and research capabilities. Other audio-visual learning materials that will enrich learning and instruction like maps, globes, musical recordings and other audio-visual materials are provided.
INTERNET FACILITIES
To fulfill the university’s mission of providing free and equal access to information, knowledge, independent learning and the joy of reading to our diverse community, the University of Nueva Caceres library provides access to the Internet and to personal computers with a variety of software. Wi-Fi services are available in the university campus.
LAPTOP AREA
Laptop users are provided with a common place where students are comfortably provided with electrical outlets.
NAP AREA
Nap area is a new facility for those who want to recharge their energy or take a short rest to enhance their study efficiency.
FACULTY AREA
The library provides a small place for silent study area to faculty members. The silent study area is located near the Circulation and office of the Director of Libraries. It is air conditioned. It also houses the Local Historical Materials and Rare Book collection and maintained by the Circulation librarian.
REPAIR AND STACK AREA
To support the drive of the library in the preservation of reading and research materials, a Repair and Stack Area is provided. This includes materials and equipment for the repair of books and binding of periodicals. This area is adjacent to the Technical Section.
STAFF LOUNGE AREA
The library Staff is provided with a Lounging and Dining Area, Pantry as well as Comfort Room, all offices of the librarians are equipped with modern equipment to serve the information needs of the users.
I.T. SERVER ROOM
The server and IT room provides the operational components for library automation and online services. Generally, the server room is the place where the OPAC server, domain server, file server and the library solution server and the firewall are physically located which are houses in the server cabinet together with the uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), media converter, Backup device, patch panel, and the network switches wherein all the IT devices are interconnected. The server room is designed with backup power from the generator and uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), air conditioned, and is monitored and managed by the System administrator and the IT support staff.
TECHNICAL SECTION
The technical section handles the collection development, acquisition, cataloging, and classification of print and non-print materials. This section is primarily in charge with the collection analysis, procurement of materials and its payment, bibliographical description, classification, and their physical processing before they are delivered and shelved for circulation.

The University maintains five branch libraries. The unit libraries are as follows:
GRADUATE STUDIES LIBRARY
The UNC Graduate Library caters to the research needs of UNC graduate students, thesis writers, faculty members and administrative staff. Undergraduate students may be allowed to use the Graduate School Library upon request to the Graduate School Librarian. Graduate Students from other universities or colleges with the required referral letter and valid ID are also allowed to use the library. The collection includes theses and dissertations, reference books, researches and journals. Computers are available with internet connection.
LAW LIBRARY
The College of Law Library serves the needs of Law students, Bar Exam reviewees and faculty members of the College of Law. It provides collections for legal research. Reference materials such as Philippine Reports and Supreme Court Reports Annotated (SCRA) which contains decisions of cases are also available, Philippine laws and jurisprudence such as the Official Gazette, the Lawyers Review Journal of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and other publications are also found here. Computers are available with internet connection. Law Library is located at the 1/F of the New Building.
ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE LIBRARY
The Engineering and Architecture Library caters to the needs of students in the College of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Architecture. The collection includes reference books, periodicals and journals and Access Engineering database. Computers are available with internet connection.
HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY
The High School Library occupies the right-wing portion of the University Library. It houses rich collection of general reference books, fictions and reference books which cater to the secondary curriculum. Computers are available with internet connection. STARBOOKS database is available.
ELEMENTARY LIBRARY
The Elementary Library occupies the right-wing portion of the University Library. It is an interactive room best for Elementary School children. Available from its collection are reading materials in English, Mathematics, Science, Literature and other reference materials for elementary education. Computers with internet connection are available. STARBOOKS database is also available.
