APPLES

There are 2,500 known varieties of apples grown in the U.S. - including several varieties that come from Minnesota! Have you ever heard or tasted a Honeycrisp apple? How about a SweeTango or Zestar? Apple season in Minnesota runs from August to early November. 

Along with their burst of flavor, local apples are an excellent source of dietary fiber, nutrients, and antioxidants.
