Have a need for a college student intern to work on a sustainability-related project? Each semester, the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities offers SUST 4096: Sustainability Internships, a class that supports students in finding internships focused on sustainability. Students intern for 4, 7 or 10 hours per week for a total of 14 weeks during the semester. We invite MN GreenStep Schools to submit internship proposals for the possibility to be matched with a student in the class.

Students in SUST 4096 come from majors and programs across the university, but all of them share an interest in sustainability. Students could work on projects related to improving energy efficiency, planning or developing a school garden, local food sourcing, and much more in between. Students can also work remotely if your school is not near the Twin Cities campus. If you are interested in submitting a proposal or have questions about the class, please contact us.
