Health Services Management graduates make a direct contribution as leaders who advance the health of individuals, organizations, and communities by managing, planning, communicating, and coordinating medical and health services.
The HSM major is a professionally orientated major with a focus on business and people skills needed to manage and lead in health care organizations.
With a degree in Health Services Management, you can continue into a graduate program or find a career in healthcare administration in:
hospitals or health systems
physician's / therapist's / practitioner's offices
long-term care facilities
managed-care and health insurance companies
biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations
government and public health agencies
