Complete your U Market request in two simple steps!
A. Create your cart in U Market.
Search for your preferred items and add them to a cart. If using a punch out of one of our suppliers, you will want to complete your cart within the punch out and "check-out", which will take you back to U-Market for step 2. (HINT: The Amazon punch out is at the bottom of the U-Market page. Click on it and the "punch out" link to shop via Amazon. When you check-out simply click "Submit Order for Approval" to move on to Step 2.)
After your cart is finished, click the usual "Assign Cart" button, then use the search function if you have not routed to Tristan Rholl previously. If you have, simply select him from the "select" dropdown and skip to step 4.
In the email address field, type rholl024@umn.edu and click search; Tristan Rholl should pop up in your results, and you can select him. Be sure to check the box to "Add to profile" so he is saved for future transactions.
Click "Assign". You do not need to enter anything in the box. That info will be taken care of in Step B.
Proceed to Checkout and Record your U Market cart number and Total Cost or simply leave this page open while you complete Step B below.
B. Submit your U Market cart as an epurch request.
Navigate to the ECE epurch system.
Click "New Order" at the top of the screen.
In the vendor field, type U Market, then proceed to the next page.
In the Item Description field, type "U Market cart #" and fill in your cart number. You can also fill in the cost of the total transaction with a Quantity of 1. No need to itemize here. Be sure to click "Add Item"
Complete the rest of the purchasing request as normal, including an account string, justification, and any other pertinent details. Guide is here if needed.
