Seed Library Plants

Seeds provided by U-M Library 

While we strive to provide high-quality seeds, the seed library cannot guarantee the germination rate or purity of the seeds. We only accept donations of open-pollinated, locally-harvested native, and heirloom seeds. We do not knowingly accept or make available hybrid, patented, or genetically modified (GMO) seeds. Please take care when harvesting from native seed populations to take a small portion of seeds from a wide range of sites to prevent over-harvesting and resource depletion. Please provide all relevant information when donating seeds, including plant variety, harvest date,  and other important growing conditions.
