Can begin in early spring or late summer. Ensure cool soil and plant seeds at least 2 inches apart at 1/8 inch deep. Keep moist

Easy
Produces seed in second year. Plant will bolt. Stalks and pods will mature becoming brown, firm and dry. Gently cut the pods from the plant and open to collect seeds. Allow pods to dry and then gently crack or shake open. Store in a cool dry place.
