Located just off the trail is the Bosco del Castagno, where visitors can stroll through the nature preserve. The preserve is known for the chestnut trees that grow there, and educational sinage is present for visitors to learn about the landscape. Some of the fallen trees display artful carvings and can be found scattered around the forest.
