Biomedical Engineering Society

Hello all! Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) focuses on bringing professional development opportunities to all UIC students interested in biomedical and bioengineering.

We host industry speakers, resume workshops, mentorship opportunities, social events, and volunteer events. Every spring we co-host the Research Symposium with the BME Department, an event where undergrads and graduate students present their research or projects to all members of the department. 

Some past projects we have worked on are:

1. 3D Printed Prosthetic

2. Brain Control Interface

3. Smart Glove

We are currently in the process of creating new projects and workshops for this school year to strengthen our biology and engineering skills.
