Students should review the Feminist Studies website and the General Catalog. A solid understanding of the requirements provides students with an invaluable head start to their college career and to this interdisciplinary major.
If you have completed an Introduction to Women’s, Gender, or Feminist Studies course at your community college, please check assist.org to find out if it articulates with FMST 01. If the course you have taken does not articulate with FMST 01, you should contact the FMST advisor immediately and provide them with a syllabus and unofficial transcript so the course can be reviewed as a potential substitute for FMST 01 or as a substitute for the lower-division course requirement.
FMST 1: Feminist Studies: An Introduction
A lower-division (10-99 course) Feminist Studies course.
An upper-division (102-189) Feminist Studies course or an approved upper-division (102-189) elective from another department - please refer to the FMST Tentative Curriculum list.
