Complete the recommended courses listed in the “Transfer Admission Screening Policy” section of the BMB BS General Catalog.

NOTE: Students who only complete the minimum major prep/major requirements will likely take more than two years to complete the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology degree.
Chemistry & Biochemistry advising will email transfer students in the summer (usually early to mid July) with more information and recommended courses for fall - please check your UCSC email/spam folder for emails from chemistryadvising@ucsc.edu.
NOTE: The course recommendations below are generalized & based on completion of all recommended transfer course work (NOT just the minimum transfer coursework). Incoming transfer students will receive email advising from chemistryadvising@ucsc.edu over the summer regarding their personalized academic plan.
