Be aware that CT is an online major, therefore all CT courses are offered online in the synchronous format.
Send all unofficial transcript(s) to the CT advisor at creative@ucsc.edu.
Students will be invited via email to meet with the CT advisor during Virtual Advising Days (August 4-8) to discuss an individualized academic plan, prior coursework, and goals in the CT program (and beyond). All transfer students with a prospective CT major are required to attend this meeting in order to gain permission numbers for enrollment in CT courses.
Students who are accepted as junior transfers for CT will have spaces reserved in the following courses. Please check for emails from creative@ucsc.edu for advising meeting and enrollment instructions.
CT 1: Creative Interventions: A Colloquium in Contemporary Media
CT 10: Understanding Digital Design
CT 11: Digital Media Perspectives
For Academic Year 2025-26, the major advisor will be providing transfer students with permission numbers to enroll in CT courses.
