• PSYC 100: Research Methods in Psychology (7 credits)

• PSYC 20: Cognition: Fundamental Theories (if equivalent course was not taken at previous institution)

  • If not PSYC 20, then an upper division Psychology class

  • If not an upper division Psychology class, then an elective from this list: Cognitive Science Interdisciplinary Electives (2023-24 Catalog)

The suggested course load is two major classes per quarter.

Emails with suggested courses and permission codes will be sent to Cognitive Science transfer students who send in their unofficial transcript to psyadv@ucsc.edu prior to July 1st.
