Earth Sciences and Anthropology Combined Major B.A. for Transfers

Transfer students who intend to pursue this major should do the following prior to the beginning of their first term…

Review the Earth Sciences/Anthropology combined major in the General Catalog
Students are strongly encouraged (but not required) to complete all lower-division mathematics and science prerequisites appropriate to their concentration of interest prior to transfer.
If a student has not completed MATH 3 or above at community college they must complete the ALEKS math placement by July 31, 2025.

If you have completed the recommended transfer course work then enroll in

EART 110A: Evolution of the Earth
Upper-division major elective
EART 190: Earth Science Mentors

Students will be emailed an invitation and permission code to enroll in EART 190 and all transfer students in Earth Science are encouraged to enroll in this course.

Contact the Earth and Planetary Sciences undergraduate advisor if you are unable to enroll in the above courses.

Every transfer student plan is unique. Students will receive an email with their articulated course work and recommendations for first quarter enrollment.
