Review the General Catalog, especially the sample academic plans and major qualification policy.
Be aware that CT-coded courses begin in junior year, so your first two years should be spent completing GE requirements and exploring minor and/or double major options.
Be aware that CT is an online major, therefore all CT courses are offered online in the synchronous format.
Students should meet with the CT advisor as early as possible to gain a clear understanding of degree requirements, non-standard enrollment procedures for certain required courses, and to create a customized academic plan.
In their first term, students are encouraged to enroll in GEs and/or any lower-division coursework in the Arts Division according to their areas of interest. Please feel free to reach out to the CT advisor for guidance.
Additional considerations when developing your first quarter enrollment plan can be found in the First Quarter Enrollment Advising Guide 2025-26.
