Leadership & Career

4-H youth develop leadership skills through both individual and group projects. Even Primary Members have opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills in public speaking, project management, communication, team building, organization and negotiation.

Leadership Positions

Teens as Teachers

Using a cross-age teaching model, older 4-H youth are teen teachers who facilitate lessons teaching younger youth through hands-on lessons in cooking, science, or mindfulness practices. Contact your county 4-H office if you are interested in these opportunities.

Project Sheets

Project Sheets are a guide for Project Leaders to develop lessons with meaningful content. Families and youth may reference these as a guide for what can be covered in the project. Please click the links to see the Project Sheet — please note that we do not have Project Sheets for all projects yet.
