F&O HR is here for you

We know that some staff are having a particularly hard time during this time of uncertainty, and blending a work and home life together can be challenging.

We’ve heard from some staff about parenting challenges, financial concerns, marital issues and anxiety in this new world. You are not alone if you are feeling or going through any of these, or other, hurdles. It is important to remember that if you are struggling your supervisors and leaders are here to support you as is your F&O HR team.

Supports available to you

There are a number of supports available to you as UAlberta staff from Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) to online resources and courses on mental health and developing resilience.

Visit the Getting Through the Pandemic webpage for more information.

Returning to Campus

Campus safety

Though many staff will be returning to campus on February 28, some will be returning under a hybrid model with the Work from Home program and others may continue working remotely. Refresh your memory on the existing health measures and restrictions on campus by visiting the Working During COVID-19 webpage.

Masks remain mandatory

Face masks are mandatory in all indoor common areas and everywhere 2 metre distancing is not possible. Follow all PPE protocols for your work area.

Should you wish to request an exemption to mask-wearing, visit the Employee Mask Exception Procedure to apply. If you need assistance, please contact your HR partner.
