Capstone Project or

Capping Exercise

General Information

Minimum Requirements for Course-Based Master’s Programs:

As part of FGSR'S Minimum Requirements, students must complete a capstone project or capping exercise as required by their program and commensurate with the degree being sought.

Grading

Generally, students will be assigned "Credit" (CR) or "No-Credit" (NC) for their capstone project or capping exercise.

Notations of CR and NC do not impact GPA calculations. However, since the capstone project or capping exercise is an academic requirement, successful completion is necessary to graduate.

Timing

The capstone project or capping exercise is typically taken in the last semester of a student's program.
