Summary: This week we aimed to complete our assembly for each of our exterior plates using dowels to connect the parts that we CNCd and cut out using the X-acto blade. We also completed sanding down the ridges of each component. We have also finalized our LED system and have been discussing our attachment method. Some issues we came across with the build is figuring out how to encase the skeleton to still make it visually appealing and structurally sound, so we decided to use some cardboard to reinforce the plates a bit and then cover it using vinyl.
Plan for the next 2 weeks: In the next 2 weeks we aim to finish coating our project and get it ready to present for the showcase. We also plan to incorporate spacers and possibly bottom planks to make the base more stable.
