The artifact I have included is a certificate of completion of Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, and Substance Abuse Training. This training is important for all educators because it teaches how to help anyone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training includes: risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems; information on depression; and where to turn for help, professional, peer, and self-help resources.
This artifact certifies that I have completed the Dyslexia course through TEA. This training is important for all educators because it teaches about dyslexia its characteristics, identification, and effective strategies.
