Welcome to My Teaching Portfolio

Hello, my name is Tierra Paschal, and I am ready to join the team at your campus! I graduated from Texas Woman's University in December 2021 with my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an ESL certification. In this portfolio, you will find my resume, teaching philosophy, as well as some of the professional development projects I've created that align with teaching standards.

I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. As the oldest of four children to a single parent, I naturally learned to nurture and teach my younger siblings. This carried over into my classroom ideals in school. I excelled in being a leader in my classes and mentoring my peers. I want to become a teacher because I feel it is one of the most rewarding careers. Children are such unique people and I believe it is extremely special to have the opportunity to not only teach them academically, but to help them discover who they are along the way.
